They are ideal for applications requiring a slow delineation of traffic to 2 to 5MPH. Placing them at cross walks and stop signs ensure drivers obey other traffic signs and roadway markings and reinforce their use. Speed bumps ensure a safer area for both pedestrians and motorists.

Parking Blocks & Car Stops

Parking blocks, also known as car stops, can play a critical role in the safety of your parking areas. These devices can play a crucial role in preventing out of control vehicles from crashing into your store front or building. In slippery or icy conditions, vehicle braking distance may be reduced. A well placed parking block may be the last resort to stop that vehicle before extensive property damage or even personal injury occurs.

Universal Seal can install a wide variety of parking blocks in your parking lots and parking areas. The car stops we use are available in 22", 3', 4', and 6' lengths. Reflective tape molded into the parking block is available in yellow, white, or (handicap) blue to designate certain parking areas, and optimize visibility to motorists and pedestrians.

Parking blocks can also be installed in home garages, parking garages and used in other areas where vehicles such as ATV's, golf carts and other modes of transportation are parked or stored.
